Kinokuniya Party 3/14 in NYC!

Friday, March 13th, 2015

I’ve been busy getting ready for Saturday’s launch party for Cool Japan Guide – 2pm at Kinokuniya (1073 Ave. of the Americas, NYC)! You can RSVP here! It’s extra exciting because there will be limited edition prints (in the design seen above). Kinokuniya will include a print with each purchase of Cool Japan Guide at this event while supplies last. Also, I have two fantastic sponsors who have provided some great prizes for the party.

Herr Drosselmeyer from The Hard Nut!

Sunday, December 19th, 2010

Here’s a quick illo I did of Herr Drosselmeyer from The Hard Nut which I saw at BAM. It just ended it’s run, and I was inspired by the cool, mysterious, and androgynous take on Drosselmeyer they had. Here I have him holding The Nutcracker. The Hard Nut’s sets and designs are inspired by cartoonist Charles Burns. Overall, an amazing show! Happy Holidays!

The Center Show!

Friday, May 29th, 2009

I just got back from the reception of The Center Show and here are some pics of me with my triptych entitled “Dolls in Love” I am really pleased with how it came out (I tried out new materials – fake fur and acrylic spray paint) and the reception was so fun! It was especially cool seeing the original pieces from 20 years ago by Keith Haring, David LaChapelle, The Guerilla Girls, and Kenny Scharf to just name a few. Thanks again to Rodney Greenblat for choosing me to be in the show!
