Super Wow!
This weekend is another crazy one since I’m covering the NYC Wine and Food Festival, but I just had to take some time out to check out the Super Wow show and it was amazing!
Art by Piepke and Molly Crabapple are good enough reasons to go, but I was also completely blown away by Machine Dazzle’s doll/flower/glitter/chandelier piece and Kenny Scharf’s day glow/black light room. My eyeballs were so thrilled! Check out the photos! I only wish I could have stayed and partied all night there but I was on a tight schedule, maybe next time!

Following are pics of the big blacklight room. Everything was dayglow lit by blacklight and appeared to be painted over and repurposed found objects. A riot of color, it was hard to decide where to look and every square foot had something to look at!
